When you sign up for an event from a UW Event Calendar, it's important to stay informed about any changes. You can achieve this by subscribing to a live feed of the UW Event Calendar. What's the difference between subscribing to a live feed and simply downloading an individual event's details to your calendar? Downloading an event is a one-time snapshot at the time of download and does not include updates that may occur when the event creator adds/removes details to/from the event. The one-time download of an individual event also does not keep you informed of future events on the UW Event Calendar you downloaded it from either.

Note: The subscription to a live calendar feed normally includes current and future events, but not past events.

Want to stay up-to-date with a UW Event Calendar? Subscribe to a live calendar feed! This way, any changes or new events added to the UW Event Calendar will automatically update and reflect on your subscribed live calendar feed.

How to subscribe a live calendar feed to your calendar (Outlook, Gmail, etc.):

1. Above the calendar, click +Subscribe.
2. Select iCalendar Subscribe.
3. Enter the email address of the account where you want calendar updates sent, and then click Subscribe. When you go to your calendar, you should see now see events appearing from the UW event calendar you subscribed to.
