Creators control the settings for downloads. By default,  downloads are not available to viewers.

Turn on downloads Creators may specify who, if anyone, can download all the recordings in a folder or individual recordings. See Panopto's instructions on how to enable downloads in a folder and how to enable downloads on a recording.

Download recordings Creators may download video or audio streams.

If the creator has enabled downloads, viewers may download a recording.

Note: Users that do not have the ability to download will not see the download button in the viewer.
