Study Spaces

In the Scout app, a study space is defined as an environment designed to support the diverse studying needs of students at UW. Whether you need a silent area for deep focus, a conference room for group projects, or a lively community space to combat isolation, Scout provides detailed information to help you find the perfect space for your study goals.

Information is key

The quality of Scout relies on details provided by campus partners: the type of amenities, location, days and hours of availability, etc. associated with each space. As a campus partner, you collect and apply this information to the individual spaces using a data management application called Scout Manager. The more information that you can include for each study space, the better tailored the search results will be for Scout users.
