Not sure if you have access to Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) data and tools? Or want to find out what kind of access you have? Any UW employee can use ASTRA to view their EDW access.

To check your access in ASTRA:

1. Navigate to ASTRA.
2. Click Show me my authorizations.
3. Login using your UW NetID and Password
4. Review the list of authorizations:
   1. Look under the Application column. If "EDW" is listed, you have access to EDW data, reports, cubes, and dashboards. The data you can access is governed by the role to which you have been assigned. You may have access to more than one role.
   2. If you need to request new or different access to EDW, visit the Request Permission and Access Data page. 

To check your access using BI Portal reports:

In addition to ASTRA steps described above, you can also explore your access via a number of BI Portal reports. Check out the following resources:

• Who am I? - shows what access roles you have.
• Who Has Access? - shows access roles by department.
• DAC-Secured Tables, Views and Columns - shows security by role by database by table
• DAC Secured Tables, Views and Columns Overview by Roles - shows security by role by database by table, but allows to select only certain roles.
